Friday's Feature (on Thursday)!

Are you confused yet? I know I am! I just wanted to do a quick post as I am off for a break to see my family!

It has been a crazy week here at the store - several new shipments made it in before I left. I was able to get them on line (huge surprise). The last of the Creative Imaginations Sepia line has finally arrived and you can see it all here.
This line is perfect for really just about anything! But I will say - for a wedding - yee-ouch! It would be killer! Here are some up close shots!
These are the four die cut papers in the line - each has a different cut, but of course coordinate perfectly! The colors are a soft brown, cream and white.
now here are some tight shots of each paper so you can get a better idea of the pattern...

pretty amazing papers aren't they?! The rub-ons come four to a pack and are loaded this accents!
The Negative Strips come in Brown & Black and have 5 windows. The strips can be used as one or can easily be cut. Each strip is approx 3"x12" and have the coordinating die cut edge.

The Die Cut pack is LOADED with creative inspirations for journaling spots, random words and of course match perfectly!

There are two different Cardstock Punchouts - one cream based with oval punch outs and then the white one has rectangular punchouts! Then finally there are two 12x12 cardstock sticker sheets. One is a tab style alphabet with eight 12" long strips full of words that can be used individually or as the strip! The other is a variety of 1/2" x 12" strips with decorative designs, words and such.
These items can be found at the shop here or simply hit the Featured Items button under shopping at the site!
There will be no featured item(s) next week - but with any luck - I will get on in before I have to head out to the wedding! Have a great week - creatively yours....
p.s. I forgot to take a shot of the new epoxy stickers (sorry)! They are however listed on the site!
UPDATE: Note that links here to a specific tab on the site may change (ie Featured) as updates are done!

Friday's Feature on Saturday!

Sorry - had a busy day yesterday (not to mention I kinda forgot)!

This week I want to showcase the new Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Ink Refillable Pen!
Create a custom pen with your favorite color Adirondack Alcohol Inks! The Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Ink Fillable Pen is a dual-tipped dry pen that can be filled with Alcohol Ink. Draw, doodle, journal, outline and color using the flexible brush tip or the fine point nib. Use on glossy and matte papers, glass, metal and plastic. The ergonomic barrel allows for ease of use, while the air-tight caps keep Alcohol Inks from evaporating. Utilize the white area on the barrel for labeling the pen’s ink color.

Rather than try and give too large of an explanation - follow this link! Tim Holtz himself shows you an excellent tutorial of what these are all about!
Be sure to check out all the available Alcohol inks as well at the store!
Have a great weekend!

Friday's Feature....Jillibean Soup

If you are into 'Kraft' as much as the rest of the industry - you are gonna love this product! I know I love it and their blog is even better yet! It is absolutely loaded with ideas and showcases their product better than most!

Here are what are known as Journaling Sprouts - they are printed on the same quality Kraft cardstock and come in Brown, Black or Red. They are also available in packs of Square or Circular varieties. They come packaged like this... But here are some shots to show what designs you get (two of each per package)!
There is also coordinating papers - right now in stock I have the complete Black Bean line and only a few of the Cream of Mushroom. There is also plain kraft cardstock!

I also have their coordinating alphabet stickers that are known as Alphabeans and are once again printed on the same heavy weight kraft paper!

For all you cardmakers out there or those of you who like to alter - this is the perfect line for you! I have envies as well! Currently I have the A7 in stock only. You can make cards, make mini books....I plan on making an envelope book (similar to the Teresa Collins one posted earlier).
Another item that goes perfectly with this line is the Worldwin cardmaking line of pre-made card styles and envelopes. Be sure to check them out!
I have had a busy week and have actually been able to squeeze some scrapbooking in! I am now officially done 2007! I have now started 2008 in a new album to boot! I am using the American Crafts 12x12 D Ring binder style and plan on using a variety of sizes of page protectors! Once I have a few done - I will post!
Until then - I am off. Shipment due in today (small one) so hope to get it up - if not will be up by Monday morning! Have a great weekend everyone!

Friday's Feature....Collage Press Knave of Hearts

This new weekly feature will showcase an item in the store that I think you will love!

This week I am showing you the newly released "Knave of Hearts" by Collage Press (Pronunciation:\ˈnāv\ ) . This 12"x12" Crafting Kit is loaded with distressed looking papers, die cut sheets and alpha stickers! This kit is similar in style and quality to Cosmo Cricket - but instead of die cut alphabets, here you get stickers (just like in the Basic Grey Collections)!

Included in this kit are: 2 sheets of each 6 patterns (Knave of Hearts, Queen of Hearts, Lovable, Summer's Day, Charming, & Whitty; 1 12x12 Crafting Strip; 2 12x12 Collage Cuts - Shapes & Journaling (45+ die cut pcs); 1 12x12 Journaling Cards (5 - 4x6, 1 - 2x4 & 1 - 4x4 card); and 1 12x12 sheet of coordinating Alphabet stickers in two colors!

Here are some close up shots....

Front of Knave of Hearts sheet:

Back of Knave of Hearts sheet:

very cool isn't it?! Very rustic, vintage, aged...not sure what to name it - but I like it!

This is the front and back of Queen of Hearts - color is a bit off, but it is a very aged green with loads of swirls, flourishes, stamps. One of those you hate to cover up! The reverse is once again green (light on dark) in a damask print.

This is the Witty - a burnt yellow base, with blue and red accent colors. The layout is of almost a giant bingo card - but obviously not. Not too sure what to call it - but I like it! The reverse is the coordinating red on yellow medallion print.
The Journaling Strip can be cut up in strips of course of used as a whole or you can cut it in any shape your heart desires!
Here are the Journaling Cards (above) - cut them up to add unique journaling spots to your layout or even use them as mounting/background paper!

Here are the Die Cut Shapes & Journaling spots...
...absolutely loaded with die cuts!

And finally - the Alphabet Stickers....the photo does not do them justice! I can't wait to use these!

Hope you enjoyed a better look at these - if you see something on the site that you would like a closer look at - let me know! Have a great weekend....create away, but what out for those dang Shiny Objects!

** Here some layouts I did using this paper pack! I have done so many with this pack I am down to bits and pieces!**

All product is College Press Knave of Hearts (except the time card that I used as a journaling block)!

Yet another project...

...somewhat completed! I finally got around to pulling this out of the package last night. Can you say EASY! Wow, it sure came together quickly. This is yet again another Teresa Collins kit that is simple and very inspiring! There is loads of product in here - more than you need if you follow the instructions supplied (which are very well done and easy to follow)! I once again did my own thing to a point. I did follow the directions for the layout (somewhat), but once again have not add photo's yet - hence have not used all the add-ons available within the packaging! I did add two extra pages using a 12"x12" sheet of chipboard (cut in have to make the two 6x12 extra pages). I then used some of the extra 12x12 papers to cover them so that they would coordinate with the rest of the book. The other option would be for there to be more page protectors available (the kit comes with 6, could easily have 10-12)! I do not have any these refills in stock right now, but rest assured they have been added to the 'need to order list!'

Here is sample of one of the added chipboard pages.

For the front cover I kept it pretty close to the directions...layout only! Not too sure if I am going to add photos to the front yet - time will tell. I did add some cool charms, rhinestones & flowers.

The charms are a mix of stuff from my ongoing (and somewhat growing) metals collection. The metal stencils are Tim Holtz' Stencil Type. There is also some of the Tim Holtz Keys, Swivel Clasps, and some miscellaneous vintage charms I picked up somewhere (?)! The ribbons are some of my older SU! stock. The flowers are a combination from the Prima Essentials 3 Caliope collection (love, love love these colors)! The center of the flower is a Jenni Bowlin Cream Cheese Pearl Flower - yet another of my favs! The Rhinestones are a mix of Kaiser Scrapbook (which are in limited stock right now, sorry)!

This kit comes with 9 double sided 12x12 papers, 1 12x12 die card & envelope sheet, 1 6x12 transparency, 1 1" Owire, a sheet of pop up dots (I didn't use), 5 8x8 double sided printed papers, 1 set of black 7x13 tab file folers, 1 pkg of 6 page protectors and 1 8.5x11 sheet of stamped images.

Overall verdict on this kit...is a keeper! Fun, simple and very rewarding to be able to get it done that fast! This will be a great rainy day summer project - get them while you can!
