2006 Done!

Well sort of anyways! Drake's album up to end of 2006 is done!

This is a LO of Drake and some cousins. Not my favorite LO, but the picture LO is what I was after at least!

supplies: Foof a La patterned papers; MM Noteworthy Spiral Journaling sheet; SU! stamp; and misc ribbons.

This is a LO from CL were we introduced Grandma to our traditon of gingerbread making. This year we opted out of the house and went with the easier men! We had a blast and Drake got a great sugar high!

Supplies: PP is Websters Pages "Winter Wonderland"; the die cut is MM; used my Sizzix for a change on the lettering!

Yet another 'annual' shot - Drake in front of the tree! This time however it was in front of Mom Ward's! Oh well, the idea is still there!

Supplies: MME pp; DCWV cardstock; misc rusty stars from my stash!

Okay this is offically the last LO for 2006 in Drake's album (I am doing a happy dance right now)! Sorry about it being a bit blurry, but not going to take another shot - it is done and in his album!

Supplies: All SU! except the "Joy" tag which I can't remember who's it is! Through the packaging out, oops!

2006...almost done!

Taken in October of 2006 down at the North Saskatchewan River. Really like the simplicity of the shots. The quote says, "Our life is what our thoughts make it" kind of suits it I thought.

Supplies: Bo - Bunny Fall Festival patterned papers; chipboard is Scenic Route; Buttons are from my very large stash

These were taken at the same place as the above - Jim & Joanne came for a visit so we took them on a tour.

This layout surpasses the one mentioned in the previous post about being the most expensive - this one I struggled on for two whole days and totally destroyed 4 if not 5 sheets of paper and cardstock!

No matter what I did and who I asked, i didn't like the results. So needless to say - this one is staying as is!

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Cardstock; Bo-Bunny Fall Festival patterned papers; Prima flowers; Ribbon & Buttons from my stash.

This was the first major snow fall for us in DV (I think) and it was Oct 29 - as you can see from Drake, he was not happy to be having to shovel it (sucks to be the only kid sometimes). The quote here REALLY suits the layout and Drake, "Nothing is easy to the unwilling"

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Wanted patterned papers; Chipboard, buttons & ribbon are all from my stash

These photos are from later in the same day as things started to melt - the yard looked amazing until Drake ran all though it just to piss me off (I hate seeing footprints in nice smooth snow)!

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Wanted patterned papers; EK Success Snowflake punches; K&Co jewels.
