You will note with this one I used a cool closure - it is the Basic Grey Magnetic Tie Backs! They are fun and there a a variety of options available on how t use them!
Here you can see the inside - I used an EK Success Oval Punch to make the cut out on the pocket and then once again to use coordinating papers as the tabs on the tags. I inked it all us using Tim Holtz's Distress Ink 'Walnut Stain' . I also added various rub-ons on the tags that you can't see here - but they sure add to the finishing of the tags.
This next one is once again using a TrueFit Folio, but this time I folded the folio in half and then flipped it down 1" to make a 'flap.' The paper pack I used here was Collage Press Knave of Hearts - I have used it in the past and think this was the last of pack.
For the closure I used a small 7 Gypsies Book Belt and once again used Tim Holtz's Distress Inks.
This one is actually using a LEGAL size file folder! I Used Jenni Bowlin 12x12 papers Brown Transfer Back, once again from my stash, sorry. There are other very cool papers available though at the site! Also, this time around I did a varying height of tags that fit inside the pockets. The closure is simply some brown grosgrain ribbon.
These next two were made using Letter sized file folders. These were made using Making Memories Spook Alley papers (stash). I used my 1 3/4" punch for the pocket opening and simple black gingham ribbon attached with Tim Holtz's Tiny Attacher.
I of course inked them up using Tim Holtz's Distress Ink Black Soot. The cool thing about using the letter sized file folders is that once all folded up - they fit perfectly into an A7 envelope for easy shipping (only $1.24 to mail out)! The only other thing I did different than shown in the photos is I added Rectangle Gold Rings to make the closure a buckle style (similar to the 7 Gypsy one).
I made these Halloween ones for friends of mine - they both have three kids and thought it would be a cool keepsake for them to take photo's of the kids in their Halloween costumes.
Well I am off for the weekend - maybe some more creative juices will jump out - only time will tell! Have a good one!
